How's this for something special? I get to McGrath at 8 am for my first 5000 service and getting out of my car I hear classical music...piped in over speakers? No. There is a lady sitting outside in front playing a musical instrument...live! That's class.

I am very disappointed with this dealership. I was promised issues on other vehicles would be fixed, but they were not. I also bought a Toyota Corolla Cross and quickly realized it is too noisy and uncomfortable for my family. I still have the 3-month warranty, but the dealership was not willing to help me fairly. The employee was kind, but overall I do not feel supported as a customer.

Buying a car is always stressful for me. I started at the McGrath in Hiawatha and the experience was insulting and a waste of time. I went to Iowa City because they had several cars I was interested in. Nikki was amazing. I know it's her job to sell cars however she made me feel seen and heard didn't dismiss me or talk down to me. This was my first big purchase since losing my son and I was very emotional. Mario was great to work with. I messaged the website about a vehicle and was connected with Mario. We went with Toyota of Iowa city as Mario was helpful and not pushy at all, which I appreciate. This dealership has a large inventory so we had many vehicles to choose from without having to go several places.
Mike and his team were very accommodating to us and our toddler! After a couple of hours spent test driving and negotiating a fair price, the finance team helped us sign and wrap up the deal quickly!

We’ve had some ups and downs here, I will say the sales department was the most helpful, Kaden sold us our car and he was very helpful and considerate. The finance department needs some work, we worked with Kinsey in finance and she seemed nice but then our paperwork was messed up and there were some issues with setting up our payment portal and the way she handled it with us was unprofessional and made us very uncomfortable, so when we go back I will be requesting someone else. We had a great experience purchasing a used Toyota at McGrath Toyota of Iowa City. Although we have purchased several vehicles from other dealerships, this experience was our first time purchasing a vehicle remotely. The vehicle in-person was as it was represented online. There were plenty of used Toyotas for me to choose from at McGrath. Hunter was a patient and respectful salesman. He listened to what my needs were in a new-to-me vehicle and had several options ready to look at when I arrived. He took the time to answer all my questions and to make sure I made the right decision for myself. Hunter even stayed over an hour late to finish the deal and save me from having to make another trip to Iowa City. We got a nail in our tire driving on our way home to Chicago. We stopped at the dealership for help and they were able to get us in right away to fix the tire and gave us a car wash.
